In case you hadn't seen it on any other Python list, PyCon DC is coming up 
this March 24 - 26 in Washington, DC.  If you're planning to go, register 

I know that a few of the list members went last year.  It's a great chance for 
those involved with Python to hang out, meet other Pythonistas, and see what 
other people are doing with Python (and Zope and Twisted etc.).  It's fairly 
ceap and fairly close, so it's a bit more accessible than the Python 12 
Conference at OSCON.

speaker is Mitch Kapor of the Open Source Applications Foundation
