[triangle-zpug] Publishing iCal calendars with Zope

[Fun for Mac users and others. My apologies in advance is this is
obvious, but it was news to me..]
I was tinkering with iCal (the free calendar program that comes with
Mac OS X), and I noticed that you can publish and subscribe to
calendars on the net. This requires either a .Mac subscription (nahhh)
or... wait for it... a WebDAV server! So just for chuckles, I tried
making a simle calendar and pushing it up to my Zope server. As they
say, it just works.
Here's my test calendar, which you should be able to subscribe to if
you have iCal (or a compatible program, since I gather the schema for
calendar data is not Apple-specific):
Just for laughs, I've made it secure, so you should specify username
"icaluser" and password "showme". This access is read-only, while I'm
using a Manager-level username to publish the calendar to Zope. It's
ridiculously easy to publish updates automatically, and for subscribers
to poll for updates as well. Might be useful for project/team
calendars, to-do lists, etc.
Also, check out the raw calendar data (below). It's interesting--not
markup, as I'd supposed, but delimited text. (No, that's not right.
What's a proper description for this kind of structured text?)
X-WR-CALDESC;VALUE=TEXT:This is a test calendar of public events\, which
I'll send to a Zope server. The events herein are absolute rubbish.
