I'd like to make folks aware of this effort:

The National Computational Science Institute
http://www.computationalscience.org/

is working under a 2.75 million NSF grant to provide education to educators
about the use of computational science as an educational tool in a variety
of science related disciplines.

I feel strongly that Python and its established tools have much to offer
this effort.

Does anyone have ideas how we might approach this Institute to explore
developing/ configuring Python resources to be useful "out-of-the-box" for
their purposes, and get funded to do so?
