[Python-au] WANTED: Senior Django/Python Developer

I'm looking for someone to fill a Senior Developer role with an  
exciting promotions and marketing company in Sydney (3030.com.au).

We:
- Are a talented creative promotions and marketing agency;
- Strive for a healthy and sustainable balance between work and play;
- Have a great office with views of the harbour from Neutral Bay;

You:
- Have experience with Django (Python), ASP.NET, PostgreSQL, SQL  
Server, AJAX, XHTML, CSS, SVN, and UNIX;
- Have an enthusiastic can-do attitude and a willingness to learn;
- Work well as part of a team and under your own initiative to  
resolve or work around technical limitations;
- Have strong analytical and problem solving skills;

Your responsibilities:
- Slice up and optimise layered Photoshop files for the web;
- Hand code standards compliant and accessible XHTML and CSS;
- Program dynamic and interactive site elements with AJAX;
- Plan and develop of web sites using Django (Python), Flash, and SQL  
databases;
- Manage and deploy source code with Subversion;
- Apply current industry best-practices in your code and user  
interfaces;
- Configure and maintain UNIX, OS X and Windows server software;
- Write technical briefs, specifications, and documentation;
- Prepare pitch documents and project timelines;
- Liaise with clients during technical briefs and work in progress  
meetings;

We'd like you to:
- Be an active member of the developer community;
- Keep up to date with current technologies, techniques, and best- 
practices;
- Love what you do for a living;
- Work on a Mac, but it's ok if you prefer PC;

We also have a junior position which will include some Django  
development and general IT/web work.
