[MMTK] Problem compiling MMTK-2.0a10

Hi there,

I'm trying to compile MMTK-2.0a10 under AIX 4.3, C for
AIX compiler v4.3.  I have installed and tested Python
v.1.5.2, NetCDF v.3.4 and ScientificPython v.2.0b1. 
When I try ./compile it stops with the following
message:

make: 1254-002 Cannot find a rule to create target
./MMTK_forcefieldmodule.c from dependencies.
Stop.

Any ideas as to what could be wrong?
