Marduk

Software by marduk

I offer the following software the the public. This sofware is available as is. I hope that you find good use for it, but make no garauntees. If you do use the software, I'd appreciate you sending an email to let me know. That way I may be inclined to make improvements on it. If you make changes, I'd appreciate if you'd send me a patch so that I can include it in my distribution.

Most of my software was developed on Linux using the Python programming language.

QNews

QNews is a gateway between the qmail mail system and Usenet. It allows an ordinary user with an account on a system running Qmail to send and receive articles on Usenet via email. For example, you can post to alt.test by sending an email to joeuser-qnews-alt.test@domain.com. If you like your email program, but wish it had usenet capability then QNews might be for you.

gensig

Gensig is a dynamic email signature generator for Ximian Evolution or any other email client that supports dynamic signatures via scripts. If your client does not support scripts as signatures, it may also be possible to fake dynamic signatures with cron.

mardichat

mardichat is a collection of python scripts for xchat scripts that (hopefully) make using xchat a little more convenient.

iriver.py

iriver.py is a Python script designed to take advantage of the database browsing capabilities of the iriver iHP series of portable audio players.

mthemer

mthemer is a program and collection of plugins and themes to colorize your GNOME desktop.

Well, that's it for now. Enjoy!
