README svglib is an extension module for the Open Source ReportLab Toolkit (see www.reportlab.com) and provides SVG reading and reusing capabi- lities to some initial reasonable degree. As a module it reads ex- isting SVG files and returns them converted them to ReportLab Drawing objects that can be used in a variaty of contexts, like in RML2PDF, Platypus or PythonPoint. As a command-line tool it converts SVG files into PDF ones. Modest documentation will follow hopefully, soon. So far, there is only a presentation prepared for EPC 2002 (see www.europython.org) included in the distribution (generated with PythonPoint and con- taining many processed SVG samples).
